Standing up for Homosexuals

I believe that gay people have rights and should be happy however they feel happy. No one should make fun of gays they have individual rights just like we do. We are all human being we are all equal and their should be a judgement free zone. I have been around a lot of homosexual people and they do not bother me at all. I have three gay uncles and I love them to death even though they are gay as long as I see them happy that is all that cares. I believe that not only do gay guys have a bulling problem but straight men are being laughed at while they hold the hand of an obese women or girl. I've seen so many guys laugh at thinner men being with an obese women and that is wrong and very disrespectful. I believe people should respect anyone and not make fun of someone. I'll put it this way what if you were gay or obese how would you like people making fun of you, I bet you would feel hurt and lost with no one to turn to. Sometimes that even causes suicide so think about it twice before making fun of someone.

  1. I also have a cousin who is gay and I love him for who he is. I agree, they are just like us, they fall in love, and are respectful. I loved how you involved your family in your opinion.

  2. I don not have any gay family members that I am aware of, but I do have gay friends. I agree that they should have the right to have a stress free environment but as we know too well there are so many closed minded and uneducated people out there.
@j'ddl This is the most recent blog. We watched a video on homosexual bullying.

  3. I like how you stand up for them and use personal information to back yourself up. Although i have different opinion completely, I understand where you are coming from.

  4. Exactly! I agree, we are all human beings and there is no reason why we should make fun of someone else even though they are gay, lesbian, obese or not obese.

  6. We are all accused of prejudice at least once in our lifetime but change is coming and i hope we can live with everyone just not caring about something as silly as sexual orientation.

  8. I think like this about gays: its hard to be gay... its not a choice..not a mental illness..not a behavior..its part of them like the color of their hair. Why judge someone for their ability to love someone else??? They are humans and have the same rights, why judge them? Why look bad at them? That's not fair.
